Marquette takes a 19-3-3 Record into Second Semester

January 11th, 2013

With only 7 regular season games remaining it seems as though Marquette controls their own destiny in obtaining one of two auto-bids to Nationals in mid March. Marquette is currently ranked 3rd in their region, behind Robert Morris-Peroia and Colorado State. However with both teams losing significant games Marquette could potentially jump up to the number 2 spot before the final ranking are posted in early February.

If Marquette fails to receive an auto-bid to Nationals they will have to win 2 games at Regionals in order to make it into the National tournament. As of right now Marquette would be the number one seed at Regionals.

Marquette can clinch the top spot in the MACHA North Division with a win over Northwestern University on January 26th in Evanston. Marquette is currently 7-0 in league play with 57 goals forward and only 3 goals against.
