The MD2 Marquette University Golden Eagles hockey team faced off against the MD2 Drury University Panthers in a hard-fought game on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the Ponds of Brookfield. Despite the Golden Eagles’ best efforts, the Panthers prevailed with a 6-3 victory.

The Panthers had 50 shots on goal, while the Golden Eagles had 30. The Panthers’ powerplay was 1/6, while the Golden Eagles’ powerplay was 1/5. Panthers Goalie Brett Sweet had 30 shots and 44 saves, while Golden Eagles Goalie Tucker Stepan had 50 shots and 44 saves.

Panthers #81 Keegan Ferguson had an impressive four assists, while Golden Eagles #22 Mason Smith scored one goal.
