Cool, calm, and collected. Three words that come to mind when describing Bennett “Captain Serious” Default. Known to have some of the best on-ice style and offensive flair, Bennett has consistently been a staple in the locker room and on the ice, providing great laughs and memories for the past four seasons. A memory that comes to mind is the time he befriended an Uber driver after a great chat and even invited him out for a drink with the lads. Turns out the driver was a distant relative of Marquette sophomore forward Joey Nowicki!!
Bennett is graduating with a degree in Accounting and AIM-FinTech. Bennett has been a great student in his time at Marquette and is extremely proud to be in the FinTech program. Bennett is a mainstay in the AIM lab and can usually be found in his patented AIM vest. He plans to use both of his degrees at the next level as a public accountant!
Bennett has been a great friend, student, and teammate during his time at Marquette, and we thank him for his contributions on and off the ice and wish him the best in his future endeavors. Thank you, number #11.
