The Marquette University Golden Eagles hockey team soared to victory in an impressive 5-1 win against the Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Ponds of Brookfield. The Golden Eagles dominated the game with a total of 55 shots on goal compared to the Raiders’ 21 shots.
Despite a valiant effort from the Raiders, their powerplay was unable to capitalize on their opportunities, going 0/2 on the night. The Golden Eagles also struggled on the powerplay, going 0/2, but their strong offensive performance throughout the game secured the win.
In the net, Benjamin Diedrich of the Raiders faced a barrage of shots, making an impressive 50 saves out of 55 shots. On the other side, Tucker Stepan of the Golden Eagles stood tall, stopping 20 out of 21 shots to secure the victory for his team.
