- Next up we have a new addition to the team, Matt Sasaki. Matt recently joined the Marquette Hockey team this fall and has been a presence loved by all. He is conditioning’s worst nightmare. A man filled with grit and determination, Sasaki pushes him self to the limits. Throwing up almost every practice, taking pucks to the family jewels and putting up a goal in his first game, Matt has been an absolute joy to have on the squad and we are very lucky to have him for his final year at Marquette. In his free time, Matt hosts “Only Muck” a food review page, playing intramural sports, and hanging around with the guys. He’s always quick with a joke and always there if you need help. Although his brother tried to kill our supreme leader Mac, we still love you Matt, and thank you for the countless contributions you have made for this team. Matt is currently studying Supply Chain and Marketing with a Minor in Prof Sales and will graduate this spring. What a work horse. Thank you again #23, and we wish you nothing but the best.
- In honor of the 2024-2025 season coming to a close Marquette Hockey will be posting senior profiles of the 2025 senior class! First up we have James Gorman. AHOY!! Before joining the Marquette Hockey Team in 2023, Gorman was a leading prospect in high-school for baseball. Before taking his talents to the Oakland Owls, Gorman was seen as the next “Bryce Harper” coming out of high-school. However, James decided to leave everything behind to join Marquette Hockey. Not really a shocker there. Gorman is a big part of this team, he enjoys hanging out with the team, alcoholic beverages, and is definitely on SARMs. James is a double major involved in supply chain management and marketing and has been a great part of this team since joining. He’s quite the gentleman and we couldn’t have asked for a better #27. Thank you Gorman, and best of luck in your future endeavors.
