The MD2 Marquette University Golden Eagles hockey team had an exciting game on Friday night against the MD2 Saint Louis University Billikens. The Golden Eagles came out on top with a score of 3-2. The Golden Eagles had 35 shots on goal, while the Billikens had 32. Jake Buttice was in net for the Golden Eagles and had 32 saves. Denisa Jandova was in net for the Billikens and had 32 saves as well.

The Golden Eagles had one powerplay goal, and the Billikens had none. Michael Helm scored the only goal for the Golden Eagles in the first period, and Nolan Meyer scored the only goal for the Billikens in the second period. The game went into overtime and eventually a shootout. The Golden Eagles were able to come out on top with a 3-2 win.
